Lore Coffey


Zawadi Bryant

Chief Executive Officer

Zawadi Bryant as Chief Executive Officer for NightLight brings a wealth of business marketing and quality improvement experience. She is a graduate of Cornell University with a master’s degree in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering and an MBA in Operations Management. Ms. Bryant has been recognized by Black Engineer Magazine as one of the Top 30 Black Engineers under 30, and a recognized leader in business and process improvement.

Anastasia Gentles, M.D.

Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Anastasia Gentles received her medical degree from the University of California, San Diego and completed her pediatric training at UCSF Banioff Children’s Hospital in Oakland, CA. Prior to forming NightLight, Dr. Gentles was an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine, Physician at Texas Children’s Pediatric Associates in Houston, Staff Physician at Austin Diagnostic Clinic, and Ambulatory Department Attending Physician at Children’s Hospital Oakland. She advocates for children through the Lakewood Church, Kids' Meals, and The Landing.

Christine Scafuri

Operations Director

Christine Scafuri has worked in the healthcare field for 11 years, 9 years in Operations Management and 2 years as a Consultant for clients across multiple states. After receiving her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey, Christine spent the next 12 years in the Retail Management field before making the switch over to HealthCare. When away from work Christine enjoys walking and spending time with her family.

Brittany Bluford

Chief of Staff

Brittany Bluford balances marketing, administrative support and all projects with a smile. Brittany is a University of Houston Alumni (Go Coogs!) with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations/Advertising and Minor in English.When she’s not at NightLight, she enjoys writing, traveling and watching Chicago PD while eating Chipotle. Brittany’s love for communications, people, and God fits perfectly into NightLight’s culture and she’s excited to see the growth of the organization.

Connie Cazares

Clinical Operations Director

Connie Cazares is a clinical specialist and certified medical assistant with more than 13 years of experience. She graduated from the Texas School of Business and is currently enrolled in Houston Community College to become a physician assistant.

Bill Chu, M.D.

Medical Director

Dr. Bill Chu is a graduate of Houston Baptist University and the University of Texas Medical School at Houston, and received his board certification in 2004. He completed his residency training in the pediatrics at the UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles. He has work experience in a neonatal ICU as well as a private practice. Dr. Chu has been working at NightLight Pediatric Urgent Care since 2009.

Jayme Channell

Operations Manager

Jayme Channell, has over 10 years of experience in the medical field. She brings a thorough knowledge of occupational health, urgent care, and radiology. She loves to read, explore and spend time with her kids in her spare time.

Stephanie Deiss

Operations Manager
- Tanglewood

Stephanie Deiss is a licensed vocational nurse with a year of leadership experience. She has 19 years of patient care experience with 16 of those working primarily in pediatrics. Stephanie is a certified CPR instructor and a non-certified radiology technician. She is currently working on her bachelors degree in nursing.

Jalil Malik

Operations Manager
- Sugarland and Katy

Jalil Malik has management experience in the healthcare field for the past eight years working internationally as well. After graduating from medical school in 2006 from Abbottabad, Pakistan, and two years of training in Internal Medicine, he decided to pursue management. Jalil is currently completing a MBA in Healthcare Management.

Norma Molina

Operations Manager

Norma Molina is a Certified Medical Assistant with over 15 years of pediatric experience and seven years of leadership experience. When Norma is not in an exam room connecting with patients through their mutual love of Disney, she is at home with her daughters watching Disney movies and spending time with her family. Norma ’s future shines bright as she plans to continue her passion to help patients and their families by completing her nursing degree.

Maria Montelongo

Operations Manager
- Garden Oaks

Maria Montelongo has been a health professional since 2006. She's acquired experience in numerous areas of healthcare including Medical Assisting, X-ray and Ultrasound. She's also grown into administrative roles such as Office Coordinator and MA Manager, and has been training Medical Assistants for over seven years. Maria has a passion for teaching and in the past three years has become a Medical Assistant Instructor as well as a CPR Instructor. She believes in compassionate care, and strives to make a difference in someone's life everyday.

Avian Tisdale, M.D.

- Sugarland

Dr. Tisdale completed her residency in general pediatrics at the University of Rochester Golisano Children's Hospital. She worked for 8 years as a hospital pediatrician, caring for children in the emergency room and inpatient pediatric unit. She spent years as Division Director and Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in New Jersey. She has a passion for teaching and is a contributing author of internationally published medical texts. She also holds an MBA in Finance from Drexel University. She loves to travel the world and garden with her family.

Darcie Takemoto, D.O.


Dr. Takemoto graduated from Western University of Health Sciences in California and completed general pediatrics residency at Baylor Scott & White in Temple, TX. In addition, she completed one year of adolescent medicine training at Baylor College of Medicine. She enjoys spending time with her family, watching sports, and playing the piano.

Edith Ugboaja, APRN, FNP

Edith Ugboaja is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She began her nursing journey in Nigeria where she received her certification as a Registered Nurse in 1986 and as a Registered Midwife in 1988. Edith obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas (UTMB) at Galveston in 2006 and her Master of Science degree in 2014 also from UTMB at Galveston. During her spare time, Edith enjoys cooking, spending time with her family, singing in the choir and participating in women’s refugee and homeless ministries.

Ellen Hinnenkamp, APRN, FNP

Nurse Practitioner

Ellen Hinnenkamp is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Houston Baptist University and her Master’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Texas Medical Branch. In her off time Ellie enjoys yoga, baking, and anything outdoors with her husband and dog.

Gloria Nwuga, APRN, FNP

Jasmine Dao, M.D.


Dr. Dao is a Longhorn at heart, having done her undergraduate at UT Austin. She completed medical school at UTHSC San Antonio and finished her pediatric residency in Oklahoma City (where she became a fan of the Thunder and learned to survive through hail and tornadoes). She did additional training and research at MD Anderson prior to settling here with her medical home at Nightlight Pediatrics. She is currently pursuing an MBA in her spare time.

Jeannie Huynh, M.D.

- Pearland and Webster

Dr. Huynh is a graduate of Houston Baptist University and Baylor College of Medicine. She completed her residency training in pediatrics at Baylor Scott and White in Temple, TX. She believes all children deserve the best medical care available and that doctor visits can be fun too! She enjoys a good cup of coffee, bullet journaling, calligraphy, cycling, and serving in the youth ministry at her home church.

Rajitha Julapalli, M.D.

- Cyfair and Humble

Dr. Rajitha Julapalli attended Baylor College of Medicine. She has worked in a variety of settings including community clinics, Texas Children’s Hospital and Ben Taub General Hospital. She particularly enjoys emergency and acute care medicine and helping families sleep better at night. Dr. Julapalli has been with NightLight since 2009. Away from work, she enjoys spending time with her family, cake decorating, scrapbooking and reading.

Tabish Dhukka, APRN, FNP

Tabish Dhukka is a Family Nurse Practitioner. She graduated with honors from Texas Woman’s University with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She completed her Master’s degree in Family Nurse Practitioner with an Emergency and Trauma Certification from The University of Texas Health Science Center. She enjoys watching documentaries, trying new restaurants, and spending time outdoors.

Tram Mai, APRN, FNP

Tram Mai is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from Texas Tech University. Tram received her Master's Degree in Nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, School of Nursing. She enjoys traveling, reading and cooking when she's away from work.

Adrianna Guerrero, APRN, FNP

Adriana Guerrero is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Adriana received her Bachelor’s of Science from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Science degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. When away from work, Adriana enjoys drawing, photography and taking her pug Ringo on long walks.
