Zawadi Bryant

Chief Executive Officer

Zawadi Bryant has over 25 years of leadership, operations, technology, marketing and strategy experience. Zawadi received her engineering and MBA degrees from Cornell University. Zawadi often speaks on the topics of leadership and team development and is featured in multiple podcasts including Business Schooled with Alexis Ohanian, Forbes Small Giants, Forbesbooks Radio and The Best Team Wins. Zawadi is active in the business and education communities and holds a number of board leadership roles including at the US Chamber of Commerce, Houston Business Development Inc and Aspire Youth Entrepreneurship Foundation.

Anastasia Gentles, M.D.

Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Anastasia Gentles received her medical degree from the University of California, San Diego and completed her pediatric training at UCSF Banioff Children’s Hospital in Oakland, CA. Prior to forming NightLight, Dr. Gentles was an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine, Physician at Texas Children’s Pediatric Associates in Houston, Staff Physician at Austin Diagnostic Clinic, and Ambulatory Department Attending Physician at Children’s Hospital Oakland. She advocates for children through the Lakewood Church, Kids' Meals, and The Landing.

Christine Scafuri

Operations Director

Christine Scafuri has worked in the healthcare field for 11 years, 9 years in Operations Management and 2 years as a Consultant for clients across multiple states. After receiving her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey, Christine spent the next 12 years in the Retail Management field before making the switch over to HealthCare. When away from work Christine enjoys walking and spending time with her family.

Connie Cazares

Clinical Operations Director

Connie Cazares is a clinical specialist and certified medical assistant with more than 13 years of experience. She graduated from the Texas School of Business and is currently enrolled in Houston Community College to become a physician assistant.

Bill Chu, M.D.

Medical Director

Dr. Bill Chu is a graduate of Houston Baptist University and the University of Texas Medical School at Houston, and received his board certification in 2004. He completed his residency training in the pediatrics at the UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles. He has work experience in a neonatal ICU as well as a private practice. Dr. Chu has been working at NightLight Pediatric Urgent Care since 2009.

Norma Molina

Operations Manager

Norma Molina is a Certified Medical Assistant with over 15 years of pediatric experience and seven years of leadership experience. When Norma is not in an exam room connecting with patients through their mutual love of Disney, she is at home with her daughters watching Disney movies and spending time with her family. Norma ’s future shines bright as she plans to continue her passion to help patients and their families by completing her nursing degree.

Adrianna Guerrero, APRN, FNP

Nurse Practitioner
- Pearland and Sugarland

Adriana Guerrero is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Adriana received her Bachelor’s of Science from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Science degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. When away from work, Adriana enjoys drawing, photography and taking her pug Ringo on long walks.

Avian Tisdale, M.D.

Pediatrician
- Sugarland

Dr. Tisdale completed her residency in general pediatrics at the University of Rochester Golisano Children's Hospital. She worked for 8 years as a hospital pediatrician, caring for children in the emergency room and inpatient pediatric unit. She spent years as Division Director and Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in New Jersey. She has a passion for teaching and is a contributing author of internationally published medical texts. She also holds an MBA in Finance from Drexel University. She loves to travel the world and garden with her family.

Edith Ugboaja, APRN, FNP

Nurse Practitioner
- Cyfair and Humble

Edith Ugboaja is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She began her nursing journey in Nigeria where she received her certification as a Registered Nurse in 1986 and as a Registered Midwife in 1988. Edith obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas (UTMB) at Galveston in 2006 and her Master of Science degree in 2014 also from UTMB at Galveston. During her spare time, Edith enjoys cooking, spending time with her family, singing in the choir and participating in women’s refugee and homeless ministries.

Gloria Nwuga, APRN, FNP

Rajitha Julapalli, M.D.

Pediatrician
- Cyfair and Humble

Dr. Rajitha Julapalli attended Baylor College of Medicine. She has worked in a variety of settings including community clinics, Texas Children’s Hospital and Ben Taub General Hospital. She particularly enjoys emergency and acute care medicine and helping families sleep better at night. Dr. Julapalli has been with NightLight since 2009. Away from work, she enjoys spending time with her family, cake decorating, scrapbooking and reading.

Tabish Dhukka, APRN, FNP

Nurse Practitioner
- Sugarland and Tanglewood

Tabish Dhukka is a Family Nurse Practitioner. She graduated with honors from Texas Woman’s University with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She completed her Master’s degree in Family Nurse Practitioner with an Emergency and Trauma Certification from The University of Texas Health Science Center. She enjoys watching documentaries, trying new restaurants, and spending time outdoors.
