With summer winding down and the school year starting up, it is a season of transition. The same is true for us at NightLight Pediatric Urgent Care, so we wanted to let you know about some upcoming changes.
We will be adjusting our hours to better serve you. Beginning September 1, we will be open during the following hours.
Monday through Friday: 3 p.m. – 11 p.m.
As always, we will continue to be open on weekends and holidays with the following new hours:
September through May: Weekends – 11 a.m. – 9 p.m., Holidays 12 p.m. – 7 p.m.
June through August: Weekends and Holidays -12 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Our new hours overlap primary care doctors’ offices, and we have done that for a couple of reasons. One reason is so that our physicians may more easily communicate and share information with your pediatrician or primary care doctor. Another reason is that we want to make it as easy as possible for you to get your child the care they need. If you have trouble getting your child into their doctor later in the day, we will be here.
It is important, however, that you see your primary care physician first whenever possible. Your physician may choose to send you to urgent care and, if they do, you will be prioritized in line.
In addition to the change in hours, we are also increasing the age range of patients we treat in our Pediatric Urgent Care facilities. Like most pediatricians, we are now able to see patients from 0 to 21 years old.
Please make a note of these new hours. Remember, you can still use our “skip the wait” feature by visiting our website before you arrive at one of our five locations around Houston.
As we all make this transition from one season to the next, we wish you a happy and healthy end of summer.
