Resources For Your Newborns

Sarah Kaddour · March 2, 2018

When your newborn is sick, where do you turn when your pediatrician’s office is closed?

NightLight Pediatric Urgent Care is here to help you and your baby tonight. Expert pediatric urgent care for you newborn, right in your neighborhood.

We offer all these services below to help even the littlest stars shine!

  • Convenient after-hours care for little ones – right in your neighborhood
  • Equipment sized for babies and children
  • Specialized treatment for issues specific to newborns – like jaundice, fever, fussiness, bowel or voiding issues, eye discharge and rashes
  • A summary report for your pediatrician, sent directly to their office to keep them informed before your baby’s next checkup
  • A more cost-effective, specialized, convenient option than the emergency room
  • Online check-in available

Lori’s story from A Day in Motherhood is a reminder that an urgent situation can quickly become emergent when it comes to handling the health of newborns in a speedy manner and having them be taken to a correct facility that specializes in pediatric care.

“Because at the time I was ill informed and had not made an emergency list of places to take little ones should an emergency arise. I didn’t have NightLight Pediatrics on my list, taped to the fridge and ready to go to when my child had a major medical issue. Because of that I caused her undue frustration and pain. I also learned that not every emergency room or urgent care clinic is the same.”

“They finally called us back after what seemed like a really long wait considering the waiting room was empty and, after hearing the story, said that Sarah was severely dehydrated and needed liquid pumped in through a needle. The problem? They did not have pediatric needles. Nor did they have a pediatric doctor or nurse on staff. Despite that, they told me they could help and proceeded to poke my screaming 2 year old with adult needles over and over again until I finally put a stop to it.”

It is important to know your precious newborn is in good hands. We work with your pediatrician to keep your family healthy. More than a clinic, we’re a beacon of healing in the night and we’re here for you exactly when you need us.
